1973 Javelin AMX For Sale
Author Last Post

I am parting ways with my 1973 Javelin AMX. I had given serious thought to refinishing the car again, but all good things must come to an end. Had this AMX since 1978. Some of you older AMC guys may have remembered a Phil Hanson from Duluth. He was an AMC guy who restored a bunch of these cars. That is where I originally purchased it from. It has just over 60,000 miles and is equipped with a 401, manual transmission, it has the Go Package. Has spent most of it's life in storage. I have put probably less than 10,000 miles on the car. The car runs well, however I have not started it yet this year. It needs body work, typical rust in the rear quarters. Undercarriage is in great shape. Interior is on decent shape with a couple of small tears. No radio. The headliner has a hole above the passenger visor, courtesy of a mouse. They tell you to pull down the visors when your car is in storage. I learned the hard way. The car is stored in Maplewood, just off of white bear avenue, north of hwy 36. I can arrange a time to show you the car.

As for the price, I am asking $17,000 OBO. very hard to put a value on these cars. Hagerty has this car, in fair condition listed at $17,680. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and/or comments.
