Last fall I was contacted to build some pinewood cars for a new Cub Scout PSA. They wanted some “real looking” cars to use in their commercial. When I asked what cars they would like built for this, the director said he wanted some muscle cars, like the new Corvette. I explained I already had some plans for a 2009 Dodge Charger and a 2013 Shelby GT500. I emailed him copies of the plans I already had, he liked them. I did a quick plan of the 2015 Corvette Z06, and I had a plan for the 71 Javelin /AMX that I included, the director loved both of the additional cars. So there we had a 2015 GM, a 2013 Ford, a 2009 Dodge and a 1971 AMC (no favoritism here, OK there may be some). Three modern muscle cars along with a very cool car from the past. I built the cars and they loved them.
